Trial Support Specialist

Kanner & Pintaluga, a dynamic and rapidly growing personal injury and property damage law firm, seeks a highly motivated and passionate Trial Support Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, FL.

POSITION SUMMARY:  

The Trial Support Specialist will work directly with our attorneys and paralegals to assist them with ongoing cases and prepare them for trial if needed. They should be comfortable in an office environment and familiar with Microsoft Office applications and excel at both verbal and written communication.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

• File management
• Answering and making calls to potential witnesses
• Scheduling in person, telephone and zoom meetings
• Scheduling conferences
• Preparing and sending out correspondence 
• Communicating with clients
• Drafting legal documents, such as affidavits and subpoenas; revalidating trial subpoenas
• Updating Trial Logistic checklists
• Electronic Filing of Court Documents with Florida State Courts 
• Translating (if bilingual) for our attorneys/clients for preparation of Trials, Mediations, Conferences, and meetings with clients. May require travel outside of the office to translate
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: 

• Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.
• High school/GED diploma.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. 
• Strong customer service skills.
• Legal experience, including experience with clients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate with clients and co-workers effectively and efficiently.
• Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
