POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Administrative Assistant for the Personal Injury Practice Group provides general administrative support to the Practice Managing Attorney and department. They should be comfortable with computers, general office tasks and excel at both verbal and written communication. The ideal candidate for this position is prepared, professional, and has a genuine desire to meet the needs of others. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Perform general office clerk duties and errands to support practice leadership;
  • Handle incoming calls and other communications;
  • Record information as needed
  • Prepare and circulate reports as needed;
  • Prepare correspondence for approval by Practice Administrator and/or Practice Managing Attorney
  • Coordinate events and meetings as needed;
  • Perform additional duties as required

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full-time, 8:00am to 5:00pm, M-F
  • Bilingual fluent in Spanish is required
  • Customer service, previous office or executive assistant experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
  • Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced quickly changing environment
  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Teamwork oriented.
